LALIQUE UNVEILS TEDDY AIR, A NEW EXPRESSION OF THE AIR DE LALIQUE CHAPTER II COLLECTION

Launch: September 1, 2026

In 2026, Lalique continues its artistic exploration of the element Air and reveals Chapter II through a new collection of decorative objects. With Teddy Air, the House offers a contemporary and sensitive interpretation of Air, expressed in a resolute neo-pop style.

Softly rounded and filled with tenderness, Teddy Air evokes the inflatable balloon of childhood. Here, crystal plays at illusion: delicately sculpted folds capture the fragile moment when air gives shape, allowing it to be held within the material like a memory one wished to preserve intact.

BETWEEN ILLUSION, LIGHT AND MATERIAL

Available in two sizes and three colors, Teddy Air pieces play with light and perception, between illusion and reality.

Clear crystal reveals the absolute purity of the form. The pink luster and blue luster versions are adorned with a subtly iridescent finish, evoking a metallic balloon.

The sculptures are shaped using an injection technique and then meticulously worked in the cold glass workshop. After fine grain sandblasting, the pieces are immersed in a polishing bath to soften the material and achieve a velvety, slightly metallic texture, reinforcing the inflated balloon effect. The underside of the sculptures is then fully polished to allow light to pass through and bring brilliance.

Joyful companions of happy moments, Teddy Air pieces evoke the sweetness of childhood, simple joy and the innocence of first wonders. They embody the Air element in its most tender form: a breath, a caress, an emotion.

With Teddy Air, Lalique enriches the Air de Lalique collection with a contemporary and emotional expression. Between glassmaking expertise and a modern artistic language, the House translates the ephemeral into lasting forms, faithful to its heritage and open to new sensibilities.
