LALIQUE LIGHTS UP THE FESTIVE SEASON: A SELECTION OF CREATIONS TO GIFT AND PASS ON

10 September 2026

For the festive season, Lalique presents a selection of creations in which nature takes many forms. Sculpted flowers, animal figures, iconic pieces and tableware bring together transparency, colour and touches of gold, shaped by more than a century of creativity.

Anémones, Ombelles, Champs-Élysées, Papillons, Plumes and Pivoines meet the Maison’s bestiary and tableware collections. Each universe is united by the same material, crafted through satin and polished surfaces, transparency, nuanced colour and precious finishes.

For more than a century, nature, femininity and the animal world have shaped Lalique’s creative universe. From René Lalique to Marc Lalique and Marie-Claude Lalique, this artistic legacy has been passed on through creations that have become icons of the Maison.

For the festive season, this vocabulary extends from vases and candleholders to sculptures, tableware and tree ornaments: a selection that celebrates the pleasure of giving and the enduring beauty of objects made to last.

FLOWERS TO IMMORTALISE THE EPHEMERAL

A symbol of purity and innocence, the anemone was a particular source of inspiration for René Lalique, who made it the central motif of many jewels and decorative objects. In 1912, he created a lost-wax vase featuring an anemone motif in blue-patinated glass.

Today, Lalique offers a new interpretation. Sculpted in the Maison’s signature satin and polished finish, the flowers are arranged in a graphic repetition, their fleeting beauty seemingly suspended within the material. The selection includes Anémones candleholders in clear crystal, with gold lustre or rose lustre, as well as several vases, including versions in clear crystal with black enamel or gold lustre.

With Ombelles, the composition becomes lighter and more ethereal. Slender flowers appear to sway in the wind, their transparent blooms shimmering across satin surfaces. The vase, candleholder and gold-lustre version convey the delicacy of the botanical world.

Pivoines explores the tension between strength and delicacy. Square forms and floral curves, mineral power and the softness of flowers contrast and complement one another.

CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES, A PIECE OF PARIS

In 1951, Marc Lalique walked down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. The majestic plane trees and their leaves carried by the wind remained in his mind, inspiring him to capture a piece of Paris on paper.

From this inspiration came two plane leaves that seem to grow directly from the crystal. Their fine veins and the contours of the bowl catch the light, contrasting with the softly satin-finished leaves.

For the festive selection, Lalique has chosen the small Champs-Élysées bowl and vase in a gold-lustre finish.

PAPILLONS, A DELICATE FLIGHT

With Papillons, Lalique captures movement. A cloud of butterflies unfolds across the creations, enhanced by the contrast between satin and polished surfaces. Drawing on René Lalique’s close observation of nature, the motif translates his poetic realism into a contemporary language.

The selection includes a small bowl and vases in clear crystal, with rose lustre or gold highlights depending on the model. Reissued in 2026 and enhanced with gold highlights, the Butterfly flacon completes the ensemble.

THE LALIQUE BESTIARY, STRENGTH AND GRACE

The animal world has held an essential place in the Maison’s imagination since its beginnings.

Created by Marie-Claude Lalique, the Zeila Panther embodies the strength and grace of the great cats. Agile and sensual, she advances silently, poised to strike. Her slender silhouette reveals powerful muscles beneath a coat covered in a thousand sculpted spots. For the festive selection, Zeila is presented in a gold-lustre finish.

The swallow, a recurring figure in René Lalique’s work, takes on an unexpected function as a knife rest, bringing the bestiary to the table. The Royal Eagle adds to this universe, which is particularly prized by collectors.

With its head raised and proud bearing, the Wolf reveals a coat with graphic detailing. The Panda stands out in Rose Nebula, a multidimensional rose lustre achieved through a lengthy process carried out under the watchful eye of the master glassmakers.

Finally, the flourishing Niu Wang Wang Buffalo, created through the Lalique Art x Han Meilin collaboration, completes this animal gallery in clear crystal or with a gold-lustre finish.

PLUMES, BAGATELLE AND VIBRATION

The Plumes vases come to life through the markings and radiant colour of the Amazon Parrot. First designed in 1939, Bagatelle brings together fauna and flora, two themes dear to René Lalique, in a naturalistic composition that has become a classic of the Maison.

With the Vibration box, the language becomes more abstract. Crystal is stretched and worked at the heart of the material to create waves, with lines that oscillate, cross and flow.

The Feuilles candleholders return to a historic motif: heart-shaped pepper leaves had already inspired the pepper or salt mill co-signed by René Lalique and Peugeot in 1924.

THE ART OF ENTERTAINING BY LALIQUE

The celebrations continue around the table with Wingen, a collection named after the Alsatian village that is home to the Lalique Manufacture, Villa René Lalique and Château Hochberg. It is a place where creativity, craftsmanship and the art of living come together. In the 1920s, René Lalique had already designed a glassware collection of the same name with a similar graphic style.

Today, its gadrooned lines in a satin and polished finish bring timeless elegance to tumblers, highball glasses, decanters, a carafe, an ice bucket and a cigar ashtray.

The Merlot glass and Caldera decanter in clear and amber crystal complete this selection dedicated to the art of entertaining.

EDELWEISS, A WINTER ORNAMENT

Available in clear crystal or with gold highlights, Edelweiss joins the Maison’s festive ornaments in 2026, bringing together heritage, glassmaking expertise and emotion. Suspended from the tree, it brings the radiance of Lalique to the heart of the celebrations.

From Anémones petals and Champs-Élysées leaves to the flight of Papillons and the strength of Zeila, this festive selection draws on Lalique’s collections and brings together the Maison’s defining sources of inspiration.

Creations chosen to be given today and passed on tomorrow, turning a celebration into a lasting memory.
