Lalique Osaka Boutique

April 24, 2026 – Lalique announces the opening of its first directly operated boutique in Osaka, located in QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI, marking a strategic milestone in the Maison’s expansion in Japan and introducing its full creative universe to the Kansai region for the first time.

Located in the vibrant district of Shinsaibashi, the boutique marks Lalique’s first directly operated presence in Osaka.

Reflecting Lalique’s continued focus on directly operated retail and immersive brand environments, this new address reinforces the Maison’s long-term commitment to Japan.

Set at the heart of a city where international dynamism meets refined local culture, it introduces a new destination to experience Lalique’s universe.

A new boutique concept shaped by light and material

Conceived as more than a retail space, Lalique Osaka is designed as an immersive environment where crystal is revealed through light.

Spanning 106 sqm, the boutique is structured around a design concept in which transparency, reflection and texture express the Maison’s creations in their purest form. Crystal panels featuring Lauriers and Merles et Raisins are seamlessly integrated into the space, while a suspended Champs-Elysées liana installation extends the presence of crystal through a vertical composition.

Iconic creations including Bacchantes, Mossi and Tourbillons, alongside Pivoines, Plumes and Lalique’s signature animal sculptures, are presented within a refined scenography. Creations inspired by cherry blossoms, including the Fleurs de Cerisier and Sakura collections, echo a motif deeply rooted in Japanese culture and reflect René Lalique’s enduring dialogue with nature.

A complete expression of Lalique’s universe in Osaka

For the first time in Osaka, the Maison presents the full breadth of its creative universe within a single location.

From crystal vases, decorative objects, jewellery and fragrances to architectural pieces such as chandeliers, ceiling lamps and interior crystal panels, the boutique showcases Lalique’s unique ability to shape light at every scale.

This holistic approach reflects a vision in which crystal evolves from object to environment, in line with the legacy of founder René Lalique.

Japan debut of the Fromental collaboration

The Osaka boutique marks the first presentation in Japan of Lalique’s collaboration with Fromental, the renowned house of handcrafted wallpapers.

These creations enrich the space with a new layer of depth, establishing a dialogue between crystal and decorative arts while extending Lalique’s vision of immersive interior environments.

A strategic milestone in Japan

With this opening, Lalique further strengthens its long-term commitment to Japan, expanding its presence in the Kansai region through a directly operated boutique.

Nina Müller, CEO of Lalique Group, commented:

“Japan has always been an essential market for Lalique, shaped by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and artistic expression. With our first directly operated boutique in Osaka, we are creating a space that brings our universe to life in a more immersive and direct way. This opening reflects our ambition to strengthen our presence in Japan while building closer relationships with our clients.”

A new destination for Lalique in Japan

Set within QUARTZ SHINSAIBASHI, a next-generation destination bringing together fashion, design, wellness and culture, the Lalique boutique emerges as a space shaped by light and material.

It invites visitors to discover the Maison in a new way, where heritage meets innovation, and crystal becomes a living expression of the Maison’s art de vivre.
