LALIQUE UNVEILS ‘AIR DE LALIQUE’ CHAPTER I, AN ODE TO LIGHT AND MOTION

Launch: March 2, 2026

In 2026, Lalique continues its artistic journey through the four elements and turns its gaze skyward. Air, the most elusive of them all, is captured in crystal through decorative objects, where savoir-faire, heritage, and modern elegance meet in a living expression of Art de Vivre.

AN ODE TO THE ELEMENT OF LIGHTNESS

A gentle breeze on a summer evening. The shimmer of light on soft drapery. Soft and weightless, Air dances with voluptuous grace. This is the inspiration for Air de Lalique. Each creation is a sculpture of movement: delicate, irregular undulations frozen in crystal, satin-polished and repolished until the light dances across every curve. The result is an elegance that seems to float – an ode to the beauty of the unseen.

The palette captures the fleeting glow of a sunset: clear crystal for purity, coral patina for warmth and softness, and in the most precious editions, delicate sheets of rose gold leaf, each applied by hand, making every piece unique.

SIGNATURES OF THE AIR DE LALIQUE CHAPTER I COLLECTION

  • ALIZÉ Vases : Like a work of haute couture, their pleated lines ripple through Lalique crystal like a drape in motion, animated by the subtle breath of a breeze. Available from intimate to monumental sizes, they capture light between satin and polish in clear crystal for purity, coral patina for warmth, and a limited edition of 99 pieces in rose gold leaf glowing with the radiance of a sunset.
  • ALIZÉ Bowl : A wide, open bowl poised delicately on three sculptural crystal feet, as if lifted by an invisible current, offering a stage where light may linger and play.
  • PIOU-PIOU : Birds distilled to their purest essence – wings, beak, and curve – each posture a quiet gesture of freedom, each finish a reflection of air’s fleeting touch.
  • ALIZÉ Crystal Candle (750 g) : Coral-hued wax cradles a bouquet of white flowers, its fragrance a tender breath of calm, as if the wind itself had learned the art of stillness.

INTERIOR DESIGN, COMPLEMENTARY ADDITIONS TO SPRING-SUMMER 2026

Lalique extends the language of air into furniture and lighting :

  • Walnut CACTUS dining table : A reinterpretation of a Maison icon, pairing American walnut marquetry with crystal inlay. The marquetry alternates light and dark walnut rays, echoing sunlight through leaves.
  • CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES Single-Leaf Wall Sconce : Inspired by the Champs-Elysées bowl created by Marc Lalique in 1951, each crystal leaf captures light with ever-changing reflections, bringing the soul of Paris into the home.

A BREATH, ETERNAL

Air de Lalique is an invitation to pause and to feel — to hold in one’s hands the caress of wind, the glow of light, the purity of space. These creations are not simply objects: they are moments made tangible, expressions of Lalique’s enduring values — artistry, poetry, the beauty of nature, authenticity, and boldness.

ARTISTIC DIRECTION & LEGACY

All pieces in the Air de Lalique collection are designed by Marc Larminaux, Lalique’s Artistic and Creative Director, together with the Lalique Creative Studio. Remaining faithful to René Lalique’s founding vision, the collection draws on the natural world’s most ephemeral element, translating it into timeless forms through exceptional savoir-faire.

From the purity of clear crystal to the softness of coral patina, and the rare glow of rose gold leaf in its limited editions, each creation reveals a dialogue between movement and light — a contemporary expression of the Maison’s enduring artistry.
